We are proud to announce Studio 23’s first in-person event in more than a year!
In collaboration with the 3 Dot Gallery, the Red Door Gallery, and the Alameda-based JMG Motion Pictures, we will be having an outdoor screening of their freshly-released film Romantic Chorus. The movie is an animated-documentary about relationship choices, sex, fear, and technology, which features 21 diverse interviews and a wide variety of tantalizing animation styles created by 17 artists from around the world!
Studio 23 host’s a film screening of “Romantic Chorus” outdoors at Studio 23 & 3 Dot! The Red Door will be open and Quentel The Cryptid will be performing! Open studios at 3 Dot, The Red Door & Studio 23. Beer & wine available for donation.
Romantic Chorus has already played at festivals and special events in the United States, France, and Australia, but this will be its Bay Area debut! Covering topics as diverse as LGBTQIA+ issues, sex and disability, and the strengths and pitfalls of online dating; the film has something for everyone . . . well, everyone 18+!

Bring: Your own lawn chairs. There is limited seating for the screening. Just like if it was an outdoor lawn concert we are encouraging people to bring their own chairs for the film screening. We will have around 20-25 chairs.
