About Us

Alameda Artists are currently working on The 2016 Artwork Challenge!

Over the year 2016 we will be holding monthly meetups for the “2016 Artwork Challenge”. The 2016 Artwork Challenge’s Group Page will be a place where we can share each month’s artwork. (optional). Every month will have a different theme. We will schedule a meetup that month to work on that piece at various locations all over Alameda.

On Nov 15th, 2016… we will have a Call For Art based on the 2016 Artwork Challenges. Accepted works will be displayed at Studio 23 in our group show on 2nd Friday December 2016. See more details and future “2016 Artwork Challenges” below…

The Alameda Artists Group founded Jan 29, 2013  is made up of Bay Area Artists.  The founders Wesley and Jessica Warren, both visual artists, have exhibited work all over the U.S. .  Meetups are typically free and/or donation based.  We get together and sketch, have group shows, hold figure drawing sessions & attend openings, etc. We are a very eclectic, creative group of active visual artists.  Join our Meetup Group and our Facebook Group.

Members can post their work here and participate in group shows as well as other events we participate in or host.  If you are an artist interested in showing with Alameda Artists contact: art at alamedaartists dot com.
